Access to mediation – A Customized Approach.

Whitby, ON, Decmber 5, 2016:  Families First Mediation is the premier mediation company in the Durham Region, and we’re proud to announce a new initiative, Our Home or Yours. This initiative will reduce some of the barriers clients have experienced in getting access to mediation.

Families First Mediation continues to expand its service offering, in addition to providing mediation services for people who are going through Separation/Divorce, Blended Family and other Family conflicts, we now have a focus on the growing support for Elder Mediation. As we’ve expanded we’ve noticed that the comfort, freedom or flexibility to come to our offices to participate in mediation can be difficult for some. For this reason, it became clear that we needed to add this offering to our services. Going forward, based on case by case review, we’ll be happy to come to your home or have you come to our office (which feels like home to us) to provide our mediation services to your family.

We hope that this initiative will extend the ability for families to use mediation as a means to communicate through challenging situations and provide a path to agreeable solutions outside of the need for the court system.
